Enquiries and mediation
I process your contact details and the information you provide to answer enquiries, arrange appointments and deliver agreed mediation. The legal basis is pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Other correspondence relies on my legitimate interest in answering enquiries (point f). Statutory documentation and retention rely on point c.
Please use the contact form only for a brief enquiry. Do not include health information, details of violence, criminal allegations or confidential information about other people. Before mediation begins, we clarify what information is needed and the applicable basis for processing it. Enquiring does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Retention
Enquiries are retained only as necessary to handle them and, where applicable, protect legitimate legal claims. Statutory documentation under § 17 ZivMediatG must be retained for at least seven years after mediation ends. This is not a blanket retention period for everything discussed. Tax records generally remain for seven years from the end of the relevant calendar year (§ 132 BAO), subject to statutory extensions.
Website and service providers
Hosting and email
Vercel Inc., USA, hosts this website and processes IP addresses, request times, pages requested and browser information for delivery, operation and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Its Data Processing Addendum addresses international transfers, including standard contractual clauses and applicable adequacy decisions. Safeguards can be viewed there or requested from me.
Email is provided through Hostinger. Technical providers may access data as necessary; other recipients may include tax advisers or legally competent authorities. See Hostinger’s privacy notice for its email infrastructure.
Contact form
Web3Forms (Web3Creative, India) processes your name, email, optional phone, topic, message and technical data for delivery and spam prevention. The provider retains submissions for up to three years unless deleted earlier. International subprocessors and spam filters may be involved. Recipients and transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses, are described in its privacy notice and DPA. You can alternatively call or email directly.
Booking through Calendly
Appointments can be booked through an external link to Calendly, LLC, USA. You visit Calendly only when you follow the link. Contact and appointment details are processed there to arrange your call; my processing is for your appointment request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Calendly describes its processing, recipients and international transfers in its privacy notice and linked Data Processing Addendum. You may instead use the contact form, call or email. Please leave sensitive conflict details out of your booking.
Fonts and tracking
Fonts are served locally. No analytics or advertising trackers are enabled on this website, and the website itself sets no optional cookies. Necessary processing by hosting, security and form services still applies.
Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for the future. Statutory retention duties may prevent erasure.
Use the contact details above to exercise your rights. You may complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, or another competent supervisory authority. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
