School mediation in Vienna

When things get stuck at school

A fight in class, a deadlocked conversation between parents and school, a conflict in school life: I support conversations where everyone is heard. Where bullying is suspected, safeguarding and careful assessment come first.

Where I can help

  • Conflicts between students
  • Tension between a teacher and a student
  • Conversations between parents and the school
  • Bullying prevention and classroom climate
  • Workshops for classes and staff on conflict resolution and bullying prevention

How school mediation works

Mediation is voluntary and confidential. I stay impartial: I make no decisions and take no sides. My job is to make sure everyone can finish speaking and be listened to.

For schools I also run workshops where children and teenagers learn to raise conflicts early and settle them fairly. We shape content and length together to suit your school.

Before joint sessions we check voluntary participation, safety and any required involvement of guardians for minors. Bullying involves a power imbalance; mediation does not replace school safeguarding measures.

I work in English and German, so international schools and multilingual families are welcome.
